The Luxury Glass Diffuser is compatible with a USB plug adapter with an output of 5 Volts – no more and no less.
An iPhone or Samsung plug adapter is suitable but other android plug adapters may vary. Connecting your Diffuser to a laptop via the USB may not result in enough power for the product to work properly.
For best results, we recommend that you prepare your skin before each time you use the Laser Hair Remover. The laser works on the hair inside the follicle, under the surface of the skin, so shaving makes it easier for the laser to reach the right areas.
You should not wax or pluck any hairs between treatments – hair needs to be present in the follicle for the laser to be effective, and plucking or waxing both remove hair from the root.
The Love My Skin Laser Hair Remover works on light brown to black body hair, because the laser affects the dark pigment in the hair. This means that lighter hair colours, including blond, red, grey, or white, will not absorb enough energy from the laser to work effectively.
As hair can grow in different colours across the body, you should check each area you wish to treat using our Colour Checker.
The laser affects dark pigments, which is why the hair needs to be dark enough to absorb the laser’s energy. Dark skin can absorb some of this energy and may not be suitable – use our Colour Checker to see if your skin tone will work safely and effectively with the Laser Hair Remover.
• After your first treatment you may see some mild redness, which will dissipate within 24 hours.
• After a month of use you will see visible results – clinical studies have shown up to 70% reduction in hair within this time.
• After 2-3 months you will see a visible reduction in hair regrowth, and the hair that does regrow will appear finer and lighter.
• From 3 months, any hair follicles that have been deactivated by the laser treatments will cease growing any hair. You should continue to use the Laser Hair Remover for any touch ups needed until your unwanted hair is completely gone.
We have a treatment programme, designed for various areas of the body, that allows you to get results as quickly as possible while protecting your skin.
You should avoid using the machine over tattoos, as the skin will be darker than your usual skin tone, affecting how the laser is absorbed.
For hygiene reasons, we recommend that you do not share personal care devices, like the Laser Hair Remover, with other people.
Whilst the Laser will still work if you have a tan it’s performance may be impaired due to your skin tone matching the pigment in the hair follicle more closely, which means laser cannot target the hair follicle as effectively.
Laser hair removal is a way of using targeted laser light to disable the hair follicle, preventing it from growing more hair.
Absolutely it does! In fact, it works better than IPL, another popular method of hair removal. Laser hair removal has been around for nearly 20 years, and it wouldn’t still be as popular as it is if it didn’t work.
Yes, using lasers to remove hair is safe – it has been researched, developed, and refined over the last 20 years to ensure safety as well as effectiveness. To protect your skin, you should follow our treatment plan and not use the device more frequently than the guidelines suggest.
Laser hair removal can be expensive in a salon environment; especially considering you’ll need a course of treatment in order to see results. Prices vary considerably, depending on where you are, but average costs for a single area can be hundreds of pounds. At-home laser hair removal machines allow you to try out the effects for less than the cost of a course of treatment in a salon.
Some people find laser hair removal to be painful, while others report a sensation more like having an elastic band gently pinged over the skin. The Love My Skin Laser Hair Remover has 5 comfort levels, so you can find a treatment level that doesn’t cause you pain.
The Love My Skin Laser Hair Remover can be used on women’s facial hair from the cheek line downwards. Do not use the device on eyebrow or eyelash hair. Men should not use the device on the face, due to the density of male facial hair.
The Love My Skin Clear Skin Compact and Pen both use red light therapy. This is a clinically proven technology to help clear spots through active cell regeneration, reducing inflammation, redness and healing time.
When our skin cells are stressed, they produce a substance called Mitochondrial Nitric Oxide (NOmt), which reduces the ability of the cells to fight infection and repair themselves. This can result in skin damage, including spots and acne.
Red light therapy helps to remove the NOmt, letting oxygen back into the cells so they can start working effectively again and this has been proven to improve healing.
As the therapy is both effective and kind to sensitive skin, it is used as a treatment for spots and acne by many healthcare professionals.
It will be different for every person as we all have different skin, but healing time can be reduced by around half compared to using no treatment at all.
Using the Compact or Pen three times a day will achieve the best results but if it is not convenient, you will still get good results if you use morning and evening when you are more likely to be taking care of your skin. Using any more than three times a day (or for more than one minute) will not have any additional benefits.
There have been many clinical trials using red light therapy and there are no reported side effects. Love My Skin Clear Skin only uses safe levels of infrared light that occur naturally in sunlight.
There is virtually no heat produced by Love My Skin Clear Skin, so no risk of burning and the treatment is completely pain free.
Love My Skin Clear Skin does not use UV light, just Red Light Therapy so there is no risk of damage to your skin.

No. As Acne is so sensitive and your skin barrier is compromised, we do not recommend use.
Dependent on use we recommend that you replace your brush head every 3-4 months to ensure the brushes performance is maintained.
The Facial Cleansing System will help to cleanse your skin thoroughly when used with your favourite facial wash or foaming cleanser. Skin that is prone to spots tends to have more sebum (oil) on the surface which can clog pores. You may also wear make-up so the cleaner your skin is, the less opportunity there is for spots to start.
Both red and blue light therapy have been shown to be effective in helping manage acne but they work in slightly different ways. When blue light reaches the sebaceous glands in the skin, it can help excite compounds (porphyrins) inside acne bacteria which when activated, can kill the bacteria from the inside out. Red light penetrates deeper into the skin and can help reduce inflammation and improve healing by promoting cell regeneration.
Kinetik who own Love My Skin, has expertise and a long history of working with red light, not just for skincare but for other medical applications too. Red light is our area of expertise and we understand the science very well. This is why have chosen to work with red light for acne and are confident of the product performance.
Yes, both have been clinically tested by a leading independent clinical testing laboratory. The users in the testing experienced a number of significant improvements to their skin feel and appearance when used in conjunction with a standard skincare regime. You can see more about the test results here.
Both products are equally effective so it just depends on which areas of your face a re your main concern.
